Health & Safety Policy

Version 2.4

This policy was last revised on 09 May 2024

Introduction

This policy is a constituent part of the wider BrandPipe Policy Framework (BPF) which sets out a framework of governance and accountability across BrandPipe.

Health & Safety are core values at BrandPipe, and it is committed to achieving and maintaining an incident-free working environment everywhere, at all times, where everyone is safe, healthy, and secure.

Shared responsibilities

  • To promote and comply with this Health & Safety Policy, and to lead through personal example
  • To be responsible for their own personal safety and health issues, and of those they work with or might impact through their work activities
  • Whether directly employed by BrandPipe or working at our sites, to work responsibly to our health & safety standards, whilst complying with applicable laws, regulations, and good industry practice
  • To identify hazards, and to assess and manage risks so that we perform our work safely
  • To challenge any unsafe acts and conditions, and any practices which could give rise to unsafe or unhealthy situations
  • To report every incident which causes an injury so that root causes can be identified and countermeasures implemented
  • To share good practice and safety alert information, and to support continual improvement

The Board has unanimously approved these principles. They apply in every country in which we operate, regardless of local customs and practices.

Policy maintenance

  • Health & Safety being the responsibility of line management, delivered with the support of our people and reference to Government guidelines.
  • Pre-emptive risk assessment of work that we intend to conduct.
  • The provision of the necessary resources, information, instruction, equipment, device testing and communication to ensure the appropriate levels of awareness and competence for safe operations.
  • Consultation with our employees and their representatives.

Responsibility for the Policy

The Company Directors are ultimately responsible for reviewing the Policy and related materials, reviewing incidents and recommending actions where necessary to strengthen controls. Where appropriate, the Directors will arrange training for lead officers responsible for investigating incidents.

The Directors may conduct periodic review on compliance with the Policy, recommending any actions needed to address risks and issues. The Directors are also responsible for meeting any reporting requirements of external regulatory bodies.
